Brazil & Dubai
Killed it in Brazil. Massage from hot Brazilian girl on Valentine's Day helped a a little. Sleeping on a nice warm beach helped a lot.
We just arrived in Dubai. Of course we ended up walking right through a curry festival. Not feeling quite up to that yet, but the Dubai Open is as good as mine. I also forgot how awesome it is to overhear conversations that you aren't supposed to understand. Mada mada dane.
I have a fuckton of souvenirs for people. Guess that happens when I can't do my usual tour of street vendor cuisine.

Went to the doctor and had food poisoning confirmed. He said more likely it was the sushi I had that night rather than the kangaroo. Weird. He said the bit about the Kangaroo causing the illness was in my head.

Ate kangaroo by accident. I hate Australia. Gonna Drive D someone in the down under. Totally open for volunteers.

Birthday and Christmas
My birthday was nice, quiet. I went for a run on the beach and whooped the old man 15/25 games. Mom cooked a lot. For my birthday they had a hot tub installed (incentive to come home more often...) and for Christmas I got a certificate for a massage and a bunch of movies. That, I definitely need.
Hopefully everyone's stuff from me got there on time. Thanks for the birthday well wishes and have a good holiday wherever you are.

US Open is less than a week away. I never thought I would say this, but fuck growth spurts. It's so hot in the apartment that I found Karupin in the tub this morning, rolling around in there to get the remaining drops of water. I ran a bit of water so she could cool off and not get too wet. The building manager says he has too much to do today to fix our AC, so it looks like I'm doing it myself.
I'm starting to think my building manager is Inui's mentor in evil.
